Our Farm FAQs

If you have a question about our farm you might find the answer here...
How many tickets do I need to book?
Adults (including those supervising little ones) and children over 3 years old require tickets for our animal activities - please book a spot for everyone who will be entering the pen or barn.

Children under 3 can join our Pat a Pet and Greet the Goats sessions for free with a paying adult.

Full details for each activity can be found in our activity descriptions.
Why do I still need a ticket if I don't plan to take part?
We require all adults supervising their children in the pen or barn to have their own ticket as spaces are limited in our sessions.

Lots of our farm and our animals are free to enjoy, our bookable experiences help us to keep looking after our lovely animals so well and also enable us to remain a Free Entry farm.
I have added items to my basket, why can't I check out?
If you aren't able to check out the items you have added to your cart this is usually because the session you have chosen is fully booked/not enough spaces remain available. Please check our Bookings Calendar for alternative availability.
Can I book animal experience tickets on the day?
Our sessions are very popular and get booked up quickly - to guarantee your spot we ask that you please book your animal experiences online in advance.
I'd like to know more about booking a group visit or educational experience.
We would love to discuss options with you - please email shop@knottsoftempsford.co.uk with your enquiry.
Is your farm buggy and wheelchair accessible?
Much of our farm is hardstanding and can be accessed by buggies and wheelchair users, this includes the outdoor animal area and our small creature courtyard.
There is ramp access to and from the Farm Shop. Our Farmers Grill is located on flat, hard ground.

We are a working farm so some areas of the farm are a little bumpier or muddier than others!
Can I bring my dog to Knotts?
You are welcome to bring well behaved dogs on leads. We ask that you please clean up after them!
